Dato’ Effendi Bin Dato’ Haji Mohd Tahir has over 10 years of experience in Construction & Utility industries especially the power sector.
His involvement in Construction industry started in year 2003, as a Project Manager at Salam Properties Sdn Bhd and his first project was Projek Perumahan Permatang Shah Bandar, Jengka, Negeri Pahang Darul Makmur.
In year 2008, He started working with EPE Power Corporation Berhad as a Director of Projects and in-charged of Maintenance & Projects Divisions in several scopes such as Mill & Pave, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Smart Metering for the whole Malaysia and later promoted as Director of Operation in the year 2015. He was involved with all the productions and deliveries for Switchgears, Transformers, Ring Main Units (RMU) and Genset to the utilities companies.
With his vast experiences , he was again promoted in the year 2020 as the Group Managing Director to oversee the group of the Company.
His roles is to do planning and control for the Company. He develop strong management and project team to ensure the company achieve the goal. Responsible to ensure the organization follow the high quality standard and high profitability turn over.
His visionary style and approach has enlarged the core business of the ERWAN group of companies.
He is currently a Board Member of EPE Power Corporation Berhad and also sits as a Chairman and Board of Directors of the subsidiary companies of ERWAN Berhad and various local and foreign Private Limited Companies.
